Who is JESUS CHRIST?

In the beginning, Jesus is God. Jesus came from God the Father (He is 'God with us') and if you believe in Him you will not die in the midst of your harmful ways.

   God the Father and Jesus his Son continue working. They are together and show the principles by what they do. Since Jesus always lives by and speaks according to what he learned from the Father, the Father is with him.

       Jesus shows the world true life; follow Him and you will continually have it.

           Jesus gives life to whom he is pleased to give it, and He has been given authority to judge whether we believe His word and do good (whether we really love the Lord more than our selfish ways), because as a man he knows us.

               If you hold to Jesus' teachings (one is to believe in Him), you are really his disciple and will know and be set free by the truth.


People are enslaved by their harmful ways, but Jesus can set us free if we choose to accept the truth of His teachings for our lives. Otherwise, we will not recognize that Jesus is God, and does no harm.

   Repent, turn your hearts to God, because He's coming this way. Repent, choose to follow Jesus, who is God, because you really need Him to live.

Salvation (Latin salvatio; Greek sōtēria; Hebrew yeshu'ah) is being saved or protected from harm or being saved or delivered from some dire situation. In religion, salvation is stated as the saving of the soul from sin and its consequences.



True faith produces action. God often tests our faith to prove it out, show it to be real (or not):

..... now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith ..... may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.' - 1Pet1:6-7

'Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, .....' - Joh3:18-19

'Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.' - Jam1:12

   '..... your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. Therefore ..... we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.' - 2The1:3-5



Are we applying the faith God has given us or have we turned away from it? ("Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith" - 2Cor13:5). Are we turning from our sin, when He has granted us the ability to repent, or do we sin anyway?

Even though we must forcefully change our ways and seek to live for God's purposes, being saved is still something that we do not deserve.

The deeds produced by our faith only show that our faith is real and that we have in fact repented (chosen God over worldly ways); they do not atone for our sins, they do not pay the price for them or make up for them or cancel them out, for, 'without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness' - Heb9:22.

God is holy. Our sins must be paid for, and that payment is death and separation from God, and punishment in the form of pain and torment. We can not work our way to salvation because our works are as filthy rags:

   'All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.' - Isa 64:6

           "If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit;
           apart from me you can do nothing". - Joh15:5  Jesus

   
Only the blood of Christ can cleanse us of our sins, so clean and pure that the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that goes deep into the Father ("searches ..... the deep things of God" - 1Co42:9), will come into us, that God will dwell in us forever.

 

When we produce the deeds that always are involved in and bear witness to a true change of heart and mind (true repenting and believing), remember that this ability to repent and believe is a gift from God.

' ..... in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth ..... ' - 2Tim2:25

       "So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life." - Act11:18

'For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God ..... ' - Eph2:8

 
 
Once God makes Himself real to us and we see that our ways need to be corrected to His Way, and He gives us the strength and ability to make the correction, it is still up to us to truly embrace, accept, choose Him and His ways, which means changing the way we live, doing things His way, fighting with the strength He provides. The effort we put into employing what God has given us to change our ways shows we want God, and love Him. Or, we can decide that we want go our own sinful ways in spite of what we now know to be true. We can harden our hearts, ignore the truth, distort and corrupt it, rationalize it, convince ourselves that it doesn't really mean what it says, get lazy and take the easiest path of least resistance, and/or wander away and try to forget the reality and truth of God, perhaps supposing to return to Him at some later date, before it's too late.


"His master replied, 'You wicked, lazy servant! ..... And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' " - Mat25:26-30


'Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.' - Jud1:21


We keep ourselves in God's love by obeying his commands, but still rely on His mercy through Christ to save us.
 

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.” - Joh15:9-10


“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” - Joh14:21


Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching.” - Joh14:23-24



So it is essential that we learn to love, want, crave righteousness to the point of implementing it. You can not love God without loving righteousness, because God is righteous. He will move into us with His Holy Spirit, and then we have the power, ability, and continual prompting to live righteously.


Since faith and repentance are gifts and faith without deeds is dead, useless, and repentance without a change in what we do is not true repentance, then having the will to do good is a gift. Hence:


God give me the grace to do your will.

           Jesus said we need to believe in a Savior sent from God to enter eternal life.

            Jesus teaches us the truth, not the other way around; he said we need to be baptized in water and be filled with this mysterious Spirit of God.

             Leave the lifeless and go to your Savior, never looking back. Then you will be ready to serve in the kingdom of God.

             Jesus protects His own from worldly, prideful people, (what they themselves used to be). He saves them, blessing them with a full, full life.

             It's not easy being hated and misjudged by the world for the good things we do, but Jesus saves us.

             Sometimes the work of God is displayed in our life through overcoming severe hardships.

             Trust in Jesus, and believe that He is coming back to take us to heaven.


    You won't overcome severe hardships as long as you're distracted with worldly endeavors, and as long as your pride is in place, ruling your life.

     If you don't believe in Jesus as your Savior sent from God, you perish.

Jesus is the only way for us, to be save from our sins.

Jesus was our only guide to salvation,Jesus offered his life because he still believe that we could still be forgiven.

Ngunit alam din natin na may kanya kanyang kamalian ang bawat relihiyon. Ano po ba ang mas tamang gawin ang pumanig sa mga relihiyong nagkalat o huwag pumanig sa kahit ano man, pero maniwala at manalig tayo sa diyos at sundin ang mga utos nya?

I really like this topic because kids these days don't know much about our Savior,Jesus Christ.

I grew up with a religious family so I fear God in a positive way that I learned how to respect elders,my parents and other people,not to lie,saying bad things to other people and so on.
It's really good to have God on your side because he always help you when you are in trouble and no matter what happens,he will not going to leave you. Hindi ang pagsanib sa isang relihiyon ang makakapagligtas sa tao, kundi ang personal relationship through Lord Jesus Christ, There is no perfect religion in this world, but the True Church of God follows what the Bible says, The foundation of the True Church is no other Than Jesus Christ, He is the HEAD of the church and the believers are the body.. In salvation you don't need to do good works to be save, you need to repent all of your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Personal Savior. Good works are only a MANIFESTATION of being saved, it is not the way to be save. Good works also defined as the fruit of salvation... Like what the Holy Bible says: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, It is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast." -- Ephesians 2:8-9

Yes Glenn, as a True Christians we need to spread out the Gospel of Jesus, as it is command by Him, our responsibility is to perform the Great Commission.

What a beautiful verse Truly that all things comes from the Lord.. We can't do anything without Him..

Topic like this are so rare/seldom these days, many of us has forgotten our God and savior Jesus Christ. I can say that These Post was a wonderful topic, for it reminds us of our savior, our salvation and our god. To remember him everytime for he will love us and will always save us no matter Who we are and What we do.

Sir. Sabawat pagdadasal ba ntin na patawarin tayo ng Diyos sa ating mga nagagawang kasalanan sa pang araw araw ay natutugon ba ng Diyos? Kahit patuloy tayong gumagawa ng kasalan? Alam naman natin Sir na WALANG HANGGAN ang pagpapatawad ng Diyos. Sir bakit meron paring napupunta sa lupa at sa langit kong ganun din naman pla?
Sir sa bawat pagpapatawad ng Diyos sa atin kahit patuloy parin tayong gumagawa ng Kasalan, habang nabubuhay tayo makakagawa at makakagwa tayo ng kasalan at pagsuway sa kanyang utos.
